The Bradford Cinderella Club is managed by a small dedicated number of people.

For over one hundred years the running of the Bradford Cinderella Club has been undertaken by a number of people who have carried out their duties with sincerity and dedication. It is not uncommon for members to have served the charity for 20, 30, even forty years. Indeed we are delighted to see that one member is approaching fifty years service to the Bradford Cinderella Club.

President
Mr Alan Hillary
Alan, past Lord Mayor of Bradford was delighted to take up the office as President of the Cinderella Club at the public general meeting in 2005.
Chairman
Mrs Sheila Dunn
Sheila is from Shipley and after spending many years as vice-chair, took the position of Chairman following a number of officer changes in the early art of 2009. Sheila has been married to Arthur for 40 years.

Sheila was a sales assistant before becoming a full time housewife and undertaking charity work, including Bradford Cinderella Club. Mrs Dunn has worked with the local Girl Guides starting as Guide Leader, onto District Assistant. Sheila was County Badge Secretary, and also District Commissioner for Shipley.
Honorary Treasurer
Mr J Saville
At the same time as Sheila became Chairman of BCC, Jim took the office of Treasurer.

Jim Saville became involved in the club because his father was a member. As a young boy he remembers helping out at the clubs Charity Shop in Aldemanbury, Bradford. Then, whilst at university he spent some time assisting on adventure camps arranged by the club.

After the death of his father who was by then the club Chairman, Jim started attending meetings on a regular basis; becoming Chairman in 1998.

Following the officer changes of 2009, terry has a very difficult task in following what is probably the hardest act to follow - that of past Secretary Mr Paul Thompson who had undertaken the role for nearly forty years!!

Committee
Mrs Florence Saville

Florence joined the committee as an associate of the Cinderella Club in 1962 at the same time as her husband Ernest became a full committee. Together they took responsibility for the Thorpe Edge estate making regular house visits.

In 1974 she became a full committee member continuing the home visits and assisting Ernest who was by now the Club's Chairman. For many years Florence also organised regular collections and distribution of toys at Christmas with the help of various churches and similar groups. She was also a regular school visitor assisting in the organisation of Christmas entertainments provided for the children by the Cinderella Club. Florence is now our longest serving Club member with nearly fifty years of service.
